1, The Estimated population of the world in 2023 was 8.05 Billion, so the reality is not many whisky drinkers on this planet are going to have the oppurtunity in our opinion to taste this awesome whisky, it tastes as described & more, we blew through a bottle in month.
2, It’s become hard to find & in our opinion if it’s going to be sold we would need compensating for missing out on a firm favourite, honestly we think it’s a keeper.

Arran - Signature Series Edition 1 - Remnant Renegade Single Malt Scotch Whisky This edition, hand selected by Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman, is a selection of Arran Single Malts which showcase the diversity of our spirit and the values which are important to us. ‘Remnant Renegade’ is the first bottling of this edition. It is a marriage of a selection of remnant casks - Ex-Sherry Hogsheads, Ex-Sherry Butts and Ex-Bourbon Barrels from across the Arran portfolio between as early as only a couple of years after we started distilling to as recently as 2017. Specially selected and blended by Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman bearing his seal of approval. Distilled and matured at Lochranza. Tasting notes: Nose: Toffee apples, vanilla, cinnamon spice. Finish: Long and lingering with orange zest and fresh floral notes

It will feature four unique bottlings specially chosen by Lochranza Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman and given his seal of approval. So far we’ve had the pleasure of releasing the first two editions of the Signature Series - ‘Remnant Renegade’ and ‘Barrel Bonfire’. And now we can introduce to you our newest edition - Duero Discovery.
We love a challenge. We love the chance to be a renegade and to go against the grain. Remnant Renegade is a real snapshot into the world of Arran Single Malt over the years. Since we began distilling whisky in 1995 we have held a selection of remnant casks, which hold a small amount of leftover whisky from another bottling, that have not been able to fulfil their destiny as bottled whisky. Until now.
Remnant Renegade was made using a true kaleidoscope of casks - some were filled a couple of years after we started distilling, and some as recently as 2017. The majority are ex-Sherry Hogsheads, ex-Sherry Butts and ex-Bourbon Barrels. It is 46%vol, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring. We are proud to introduce Remnant Renegade to kick off the Signature Series and hope you enjoy sharing with your own friends and family.
